Now this is the story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down and I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the president of a the Park View PTC

In west Philadelphia born and raised on the playground where I spent most of my days. Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and all shooting some b-ball outside of the school when a couple of PTC members, they were ready to step down, started making requests for replacement board members.  I got on one little board seat and my wife got scared and said "If you're going to do this you better include a few other parents from the Park View parent crew "

I whistled for an uber and when it came near the License plate said "PTC" and had an apple in the mirror. If anything I could say that this uber was rare, but I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Park View!

I pulled up to a school about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby "Yo, homes smell you later!" Looked at my school I was finally there to sit on my throne as the president of Park View PTC

Christine Galey

Christy and her husband, Orion, moved to Glen Ellyn with their two children from Chicago's West Loop in 2015. For over 10 years she worked in the mobility industry for companies specializing in wheelchair accessible vehicles. During 2010 she took a break from the automotive world to attend The French Pastry School in downtown Chicago. She then worked at a boutique bakery in Chicago decorating wedding cakes until the birth of her daughter. Soon after she started her own specialty cake business. Though she no longer operates the business, she still enjoys making kids cakes in her spare time. As of 2017 she decided to take a step away from her work to spend more time with family. Since then she has enjoyed playing with her kids, meeting new friends and neighbors, getting involved in the community and teaching Pre-K Sunday School. She is an avid foodie, loves to cook, garden, hang out with friends and their kids and enjoy the occasional glass of wine.
